An unidentified warplane carried out an airstrike in the rural area of El-Kefr town in the southern Syrian province of Suwayda.
AIR STRIKE IN SYRIA
According to a report by Syria's state television Al-Ikhbariyya, citing its own correspondent, a warplane believed to belong to Jordan targeted the sports complex east of El-Kefr town, which is used as an arms depot by arms dealers, as well as the area around Tal Kalib.
No Statement from JORDAN
No official statement has yet been made by Jordan regarding the attack. In a written statement made yesterday by the Jordanian Armed Forces, it was reported that a large number of arms and drug traffickers were neutralized in an air bombardment carried out along the border line in the northern part of the country.
