The complaints from passengers regarding Turkish Airlines' new brand AJet, which started operations at the end of March, have become a significant topic of discussion. Transportation Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that there have been 11,727 passenger rights applications related to the company in the past three months.
The new brand of Turkish Airlines, AJet, became a significant topic of discussion during the summer due to various complaints, especially delays. Members of Parliament brought these complaints to the agenda of the Assembly through question proposals.
NO FINDINGS DETECTED THAT NEGATIVELY AFFECT SAFETY
According to the information provided by the Minister of Transport, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, no findings that negatively affect flight safety were detected during inspections of the company, which started commercial air transportation on March 31, 2024. Minister Uraloğlu stated that applications related to passenger rights were examined within the framework of the legislation, and these were presented to passengers to address grievances, while compensation was paid for technical/operational flight cancellations.
