In Ümraniye, Istanbul, suspects related to the incident in which football player Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı lost his life after being shot have been sent to the courthouse. While Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu and her mother Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu were captured on camera being taken to the courthouse, the murder suspect Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu tried to hide his face while being taken to the vehicle.
The investigation into the death of football player Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, who was shot while sitting in his parked car on Sıddık Street in the Tatlısu neighborhood of Ümraniye, Istanbul, continues.
THERE ARE 10 DETENTIONS INCLUDING İZZET YILDIZHAN
As a result of the work carried out by the Public Order Branch and the Intelligence Branch, 8 suspects, including Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, who fired the weapon, and Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu's mother, Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, were detained. Bilal Kadayıfçıoğlu, the father of Kadayıfçıoğlu, and singer İzzet Yıldızhan were also detained in connection with the case, bringing the total number of detentions to 10.
MOTHER AND DAUGHTER WERE CAPTURED WHILE BEING TRANSFERRED TO THE COURT AFTER INTERROGATION
Of the suspects whose police interrogations were completed, 8 were transferred to the courthouse. Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu and her mother, Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, were captured while in custody.
THE SUSPECT HID HIS FACE
Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu tried to hide his face while being taken to the vehicle. İzzet Yıldızhan was not among the suspects transferred to the courthouse.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 19, Kundakçı, who was sitting in a parked car with a friend on Sıddık Street in the Tatlısu neighborhood, was seriously injured by bullets fired from the weapon of unidentified person or persons approaching the area, and he died in the hospital to which he was taken.
In the investigation conducted by the Public Order Branch of the Istanbul Police Department regarding the armed attack, it was determined that the victim Kundakçı and the 2 people accompanying him were sitting in a parked vehicle when the suspects arrived at the scene in two vehicles, and one of the individuals who got out of the vehicles fired at the car in which Kundakçı was located.
The identities of the suspects, who were determined to have fled the scene in the vehicles they arrived in, were identified as a result of field and technical work coordinated with the Intelligence Branch.
In the operation carried out by the police, 8 suspects, including singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, who was deemed to be connected to the incident, and Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, who was determined to have fired the weapon, were detained.
According to allegations, the incident developed after a relationship dispute among musicians. It was claimed that Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, who is said to be the ex-girlfriend of rapper Canbay (Vahap Canbay), communicated through mutual friends to reconcile, and in this context, Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı was asked to mediate. Kundakçı went to the front of the studio where Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu was located, along with Vahap Canbay and his friends. It was learned that the attack was carried out by Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu's new boyfriend.
