A new wave of operations has been carried out in the drug investigation involving celebrities. A detention order has been issued for 14 people, including Hafsanur Sancaktutan, Emir Can İğrek, Somer Sivrioğlu, Ahsen Eroğlu, Mert Demir, Emre Fel, Sinem Özenç Ünsal, and Burak Deniz. It has been reported that 11 of the individuals have been detained, 2 are being sought, and 1 is abroad.
Within the scope of the file numbered 2026/73811 conducted by the Istanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Terror and Organized Crime Investigation Bureau, a coordinated operation was carried out with the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Narcotic Crimes Combat Branch Directorate.
ARREST WARRANT FOR 14 FAMOUS NAMES
Within the framework of the investigation, it was assessed that the suspects, including some well-known individuals in the public eye, participated in the crimes of "purchasing, accepting, possessing, using, and supplying narcotic or stimulant substances."
In this context, during the simultaneous search and seizure operations carried out on April 9, 2026, 11 suspects were captured and taken into custody. Efforts are ongoing to capture 2 fugitives, while it was determined that 1 suspect is abroad.
