In the eighth and final week of the Europa League, Beşiktaş was defeated 1-0 by Twente, bidding farewell to Europe. After the match, sports writer and commentator Ali Ece harshly criticized Beşiktaş's performance. Furious, Ece threw the book and papers in front of him to the ground.
The Super League giant Beşiktaş faced Twente in the 8th and final match of the UEFA Europa League. The black eagle, who experienced 3 victories and 4 defeats in the 7 matches played in the UEFA Europa League, lost 1-0 to the Dutch representative in the last match and was eliminated from Europe.

After the match, sports writer and commentator Ali Ece vented his anger at Beşiktaş following the 1-0 defeat. In his evaluations on the VOLE YouTube channel, Ece threw the book and paper in front of him to the ground out of frustration.
