Ali Koç will announce Fenerbahçe's decision regarding the Turkish Cup in a press conference.

The critical meeting, where many issues were discussed, including the evaluation of the decision regarding participation in the Turkish Cup, has concluded. A statement was made by the yellow-navy team after the meeting.

It was announced that after the meeting, President Ali Koç will hold a press conference on January 8, Wednesday, at 17:00 regarding the club's position on participating in the Turkish Cup, as well as transfer plans during the mid-season and recent events at the stadium.

The following statements were made in the announcement on the club's official website;

"The process that will take our community to the Extraordinary General Assembly on April 2, 2024, is well known to everyone in the dynamics of country football.

Since that day, we have witnessed many structural changes in the Turkish Football Federation, the renewal of the president and management, and the changes in the Central Refereeing Committee and many referees officiating in the Super League.

Despite this, chronic problems still persist, clearly indicating that justice on the field cannot be ensured.

We will continue to follow the steps that the TFF, which stated that its primary priority is to "bring justice to Turkish football," will take regarding these chronic problems, as shared with the public.

In line with the agenda of our Board of Directors Meeting held today;

Developments in Turkish football since April 2, 2024,

Our position on whether to participate in the Turkish Cup, along with the transfer plans of our Football Team during the mid-season and recent events at our stadium,

Will be announced by our President Ali Y. Koç on January 8, 2025, at 17:00.
