It has been reported that three police investigations have been conducted since 1993 regarding allegations that Errol Musk, Elon Musk's father, abused his biological and stepchildren. While Errol Musk denies the accusations, it has been noted that family members have frequently pressured Elon Musk to intervene in the situation.
It has been claimed that Errol Musk, the father of American billionaire businessman Elon Musk, has been subjected to three different police investigations since 1993 over allegations of abusing his biological and stepchildren.
ALLEGATIONS OF ABUSE AGAINST ELON MUSK'S FATHER
In a report based on letters, emails, conversations with family members, police, and court records obtained by the New York Times (NYT), allegations against Elon Musk's 79-year-old father, whom he has said he has not spoken to for a long time, were discussed.
ALLEGATION OF "ABUSE OF BIOLOGICAL AND STEP CHILDREN"
According to the report, Errol Musk was accused of abusing five of his biological and stepchildren in the years following his third marriage in 1992. The first allegation of abuse against Errol Musk came in 1993 from his stepdaughter, who was then 4 years old.
ELON MUSK DENIES THE ALLEGATIONS
Subsequently, some family members claimed that Errol Musk had abused other children in the years following this incident. Although three separate police investigations have been opened so far due to the complaints, Errol Musk has not been convicted of any crime. Family members have frequently asked Elon Musk to intervene in the situation, and in some cases, he provided financial support to keep the victims away from his father.
In a statement to the newspaper, Errol Musk denied the allegations of sexual abuse and accused the family members making the accusations of trying to "extort money" from Elon Musk. His eldest child, Elon Musk, stated in an interview with a magazine in 2017 that his father had "done almost all the bad things one can think of."
