BRUISES ON HIS BODY INCREASED EVERY DAY

When the family saw that B.A.Ş. had bruises on various parts of his body after coming home from school, they called his teacher. The teacher S.A., who claimed that the child was very active, said that he bumped into the desk he was sitting at during class. The next day, seeing that the bruises on B.A.Ş.'s body had increased, the family went to the hospital to get a report of the abuse after their child said that his teacher had thrown him to the ground, and then they filed a complaint against S.A., who had started working one and a half months ago.

INVESTIGATION AGAINST THE TEACHER

Following the complaint, the Provincial Directorate of National Education initiated an investigation against the class teacher S.A., who was working on a contract basis. While class teacher S.A. was suspended, his contract was also terminated.

"MY SON CAN'T SLEEP FROM PAIN"

Speaking after the incident, 11-year-old B.A.Ş.'s father Nizamettin Ş. said, "My son is a congenital autism patient. When my son came home from school, he had bruises on his face, and I got suspicious and called the teacher. The teacher claimed that my son was active and bumped into the desks. I didn't say anything. The next day, the bruises started to increase. When we took off my son's clothes, there were marks of abuse on various parts of his body. There were swellings on his head and different points of his body. We went to the hospital and got a report of the abuse. My son is a student who receives one-on-one lessons. Teacher S.A. claimed that my son threw himself on the ground. I recorded a video of my son's bruises and sent it to the vice principal. After getting the report from the hospital, I filed a complaint against the teacher. My son can't sleep from pain. The school principal called me and said the teacher was on a contract. The Provincial Directorate of National Education also initiated an investigation regarding the matter. I call on the Minister of Justice and the Minister of National Education from here. They should follow up on this issue," he said.
