According to the latest data from the Israeli army, since the attacks on the Gaza Strip began on October 7th, 689 soldiers have been killed, including 329 during the ground invasion, and 4,252 soldiers have been injured.

1000 SOLDIERS ARE SENT FOR REHABILITATION EVERY MONTH

The newspaper also reported that approximately 1000 soldiers are sent to the physical therapy and rehabilitation unit under the Ministry of Defense every month after being injured in the conflicts in Gaza. The article also criticized the fact that the law proposal to extend the mandatory military service was not approved before going on vacation.

On July 14th, the Israeli government approved a law proposal to extend the mandatory military service from 32 to 36 months, which was met with backlash from soldiers whose service was about to end. However, before the law could come into effect, the Israeli parliament went on vacation from July 22nd until mid-October.
