BLOODY ARGUMENT: HE KILLED HIS FATHER

Police teams found 42-year-old Douglas Dietz shot in the head at the home they responded to after a tip-off. Health teams confirmed that Dietz died at the scene.

According to investigation documents, the boy, whose birthday it was, took the key to the gun safe from his father's drawer after his parents had gone to sleep. The boy opened the safe, took the gun, aimed it at his father, and fired.

"I SHOT MY DAD" CONFESSION

After the incident, the boy told his mother, "I killed my dad." In police questioning, the boy also accepted the crime, stating that he got angry and acted without thinking. Authorities assessed that the incident was not planned but occurred as a result of sudden anger.

The boy has been charged with criminal homicide. While the bail request was denied, it was reported that the preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 22.
