FIRST REQUESTED A ROUTE CHANGE, THEN DISAPPEARED FROM RADAR
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India reported that the Beechcraft C90 aircraft used by Redbird Airlines requested a route change at 19:11 local time due to adverse weather conditions, after which communication with the aircraft was lost and it disappeared from radar.
CARRYING 7 PEOPLE
The DGCA stated that the search and rescue team has reached the scene and that the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau has been assigned to investigate. It was noted that there were 7 people on board the aircraft, while the number of dead and injured in the accident has not yet been disclosed.
