An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 occurred off the coast of Gazipaşa district in Antalya.
According to information received from AFAD, an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale was recorded at 22:13 off the coast of Gazipaşa district in Antalya. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 34 kilometers.
After the earthquake, citizens flooded the streets, and hotel guests also rushed outside.
MUHİTTİN BÖCEK: NO NEGATIVE REPORTS
Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek made a statement on social media following the earthquake. In the statement, he expressed, "I send my best wishes to all our citizens affected by the earthquake that occurred in Antalya. There have been no negative reports received by us."
"THERE IS NO NEGATIVE SITUATION"
Alanya District Governor Fatih Ürkmezer stated in his announcement that no negative situation has occurred, saying, "So far, Alanya Municipality, the fire department, the police, and the gendarmerie have not received any reports of material or casualties. There is also no information reaching the emergency response teams established in such situations."
