A tragic plane crash occurred near Breda, approximately 60 kilometers away from Rotterdam in the Netherlands. A small Aquila aircraft taking off from Breda Aviation Flight School crashed onto the highway. The pilot lost his life in the accident, a car was damaged, but there were no other injuries. Drivers pulled over to the side of the road to watch the wreckage burn. Footage taken by witnesses showed thick black smoke and flames rising from the plane wreckage. A German truck driver stated that he saw the plane crash to the ground after making a turn. Another driver said that he heard a loud explosion while driving back from Breda and managed to stop on the emergency lane, but only noticed the plane after getting out of the car. Breda Aviation Flight School expressed their sadness and shock in a message posted on Facebook. The school's statement included the following words: "The cause of the accident is still unknown. Our thoughts are with the pilot's spouse, family, and loved ones. The shock is immense. Breda Aviation will be closed in the coming days." The Dutch Aviation Safety Board has started investigating the cause of the crash. This tragic incident once again highlights the risks that can occur during aviation training.
