An investigation has been initiated regarding the concert scandal of the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.

The scandal that started with the claim that 69 million TL was spent on the concert of Ebru Gündeş organized by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş on October 29 Republic Day has been occupying the public for days.

"AS IF THERE IS A GREAT WASTE"

In a press statement regarding his concert explanations, Mansur Yavaş revealed that a total of 810 million TL was spent on concerts over 5 years. Yavaş stated about the issue, "It seems like you are making a fuss as if there is a great waste."

INVESTIGATION INTO THE CONCERT SCANDAL

The Ministry of Interior has launched an investigation into the concert expenses of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.

MANSUR YAVAŞ'S DETAILED CONCERT EXPLANATION

In a statement regarding the fees paid for concerts, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that a total of 44 million TL was paid for the highly debated Ebru Gündeş concert. Responding to claims that 80 million TL was paid for the Candan Erçetin concert, Yavaş said that a total of 94 million TL was paid to 8 artists. Additionally, Yavaş stated that 78 million 500 thousand TL was paid for the concerts of Gülşen, Murat Boz, and Mor ve Ötesi. One of the expenses Yavaş disclosed was for the Tan Taşçı concert on August 30 Victory Day. Yavaş mentioned that 41 million 950 thousand TL was paid for the Tan Taşçı concert.
