In the southeasternTurkish province of Mardin which has 7 thousand years of historical background, bronze and iron masks have been found in the 3rd century B.C. The archeological excavations are carried out by the Museum of Mardin in Ilısu Dam. It is determined that the masks belong to a travelling theatre group which came to Mardin at the time of Roman Empire. The masks were restorated in a labratory located in the Museum of Mardin and then taken under protection.

7 months ago, the first "land title" and "toy car" of the world were found in a village of Gırnavaz, which is in the district of Nusaybin of Mardin province.
