Ankara attaches great importance to Kuwait's mediation role in the Middle East, Turkey's parliament speaker said on Thursday.
"We attach importance to Kuwait's role as a mediator in the region and its consistent approach to resolving issues through dialogue," Mustafa Sentop said during a meeting with Kuwait's Foreign Minister Ahmad Nasser Al Mohammad Al-Sabah at the parliament.
Sentop said Turkey does not see the Gulf region's security and stability apart from its security and stability.
"The strong dialogue that developed between all brother countries in the Gulf is the only remedy in terms of peace and stability," he said.
"As Turkey, we are ready for the dialogue with all the countries in the region without any precondition," he added.
Al-Sabah said relations between Turkey and Kuwait were at a very good level.
In the coming five years, we will develop relations more in trade and economy areas, he said. -
