A state of emergency was declared for the forest fires that started one after another in Muğla since last night. A fire broke out around 00:30 in the forest surrounded by red pine trees in the Akköprü neighborhood of Köyceğiz district in Muğla.
Those who saw the smoke rising from the area reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, a large number of teams from the Forest Regional Directorate were dispatched to the area.
After Köyceğiz district, a forest fire also broke out in Milas district. A fire broke out in the forest around 00:30 in the neighborhoods of Kıyıkışlacık and Akkovanlık in Milas district. A large number of water tankers and firefighting teams were dispatched to the area to extinguish the fire.

While the teams continued their intervention against the forest fire that broke out in Milas Kıyıkışlacık, the fire was captured from the air by a drone.
