President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated the National Football Team, which advanced to the quarter-finals by defeating Austria 2-1 in the round of 16 of the 2024 European Championship hosted by Germany, by phone.

After the match, Erdogan spoke with Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Askin Bak, President of the Turkish Football Federation Mehmet Buyukeksi, National Football Team Coach Vincenzo Montella, and national team players Arda Guler and Baris Alper Yilmaz.
