Ukrainian Premier League team Shakhtar Donetsk announced that Arda Turan has been appointed as the head coach. The 38-year-old coach has reached a two-year agreement with the Ukrainian team.

During his two seasons managing Eyüpspor, Arda Turan maintained the phrase "Only Galatasaray" on his Instagram profile, but he removed this phrase after transferring to the Ukrainian team.
