The attack on intelligence members in Greece has made headlines in the country. Greek intelligence officers conducting a surveillance operation in the city of Thessaloniki came under fire.
THE ATTACKERS ON GREEK INTELLIGENCE TURNED OUT TO BE MEMBERS OF "DALTONS"
Details of the attack were reported in the Greek press. According to news reports in the country, it was stated that the individuals who opened fire on the intelligence officers were Turkish. Later, it was reported that these individuals were members of the Dalton gang.
ALLEGATIONS OF "DRUG TRAFFICKING AND DEATH CONTRACTS"
Claims have emerged regarding the identities of the individuals being monitored by Greek intelligence. It was alleged that the intelligence officers were involved in drug trafficking from Turkey to Greece and were connected to "death contracts" carried out in Greece. Additionally, the Greek press reported that these individuals were involved in murder, robbery, and arms trafficking.
SIX TURKS ARRESTED
Reports indicated that the attackers who opened fire on the intelligence officers were operational members of the gang whose six members were killed in an armed conflict in Lutsa in September 2023. Following the attack, the Greek intelligence conducted operations and arrested six Turks in Thessaloniki and Komotini.
