Erkan A., who was dining in the terrace section of a restaurant in Mecidiyeköy, was shot by a helmeted assailant who arrived at the scene on a motorcycle. Erkan A. was seriously injured in the attack. During the gunfire, Beyhan T. and a child named H.M. were lightly injured due to the broken windows of the restaurant. The police have launched an operation to capture the armed assailant.
Yesterday at around 19:00, an incident occurred at a restaurant in Şişli Merkez Mahallesi, Mecidiyeköy; according to the information obtained, Erkan A. was shot by an unidentified person wearing a helmet who arrived at the scene on a motorcycle while waiting for his meal at the restaurant. During the incident, Beyhan T., who was present in the restaurant, was injured by a bullet that hit his body, while a child named H.M. was slightly injured by broken glass shards.

After the incident, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The health teams, which arrived at the scene shortly, provided first aid to the injured on-site. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. It was learned that one of the injured was in serious condition, while the other two were not in life-threatening condition. Meanwhile, police teams have started working to capture the assailant, and panic occurred in the surrounding area due to the incident. The police investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
