The incident occurred around 09:45 in the Yenişafak neighborhood of the Merkezefendi district. According to the information obtained, a suspect who got out of a light commercial vehicle approaching a moving car opened fire randomly at those inside.

As a result of the attack, one person in the car was killed, and another was injured. The injured person was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the initial intervention, while police teams began work to capture the fleeing suspect who abandoned their vehicle.
