The incident occurred yesterday afternoon in the Göllüce neighborhood. Yaşar Tüzel and his brother Mehmet Tüzel, who had a feud, started arguing in front of their house. The argument quickly escalated into a fight. During the fight, Yaşar Tüzel injured his brother in the throat and various parts of his body with the box cutter he had with him. Despite the doctors' intervention at the hospital where Mehmet Tüzel was taken by ambulance, he could not be saved.
After the incident, the suspect Yaşar Tüzel, who fled the scene, was caught by the teams of the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate. Yaşar Tüzel, who is said to have psychological issues, was sent to the courthouse after his procedures at the police station.
