Emrah Erdem Gedik, a choir artist of the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, fell from the balcony of his fifth-floor apartment into the garden and lost his life. Gedik's lifeless body was handed over to his family after the autopsy was performed.

A suspicious death occurred yesterday around 10:30 PM in the Merkez neighborhood of the Bahçelievler district in Istanbul.

DIED AFTER FALLING FROM THE FIFTH FLOOR

Emrah Erdem Gedik, a choir artist of the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet (İDOB), fell from the balcony of his apartment on the 5th floor of a 13-story building into the garden. Upon notification from the surrounding people, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams took the severely injured Gedik to the hospital by ambulance. Despite all the interventions made here, Gedik could not be saved.

THE FUNERAL WAS DELIVERED TO THE FAMILY

Gedik's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution. After the examinations conducted there, the body was delivered to his family.
