HE STARTED COUGHING VIOLENTLY
According to a report from the British press, The Sun, there was an assassination attempt on Assad in Moscow. It is claimed that Assad, who was attempted to be poisoned, requested medical assistance and immediately afterwards "started coughing violently and choking."

A military source evaluating the situation stated, "There are every reason to believe that an assassination attempt has been made."
