On November 22, two thieves entered a house belonging to B.S. in the Bahçelievler neighborhood of Üsküdar district in Istanbul and escaped with jewelry worth approximately 150,000 lira.
THEY COMMITTED ANOTHER THEFT WHILE BEING WANTED
While the police teams continued their investigation into the incident, the two thieves this time entered S.Y.'s house on Çiftlik Street in the Altıntepsi neighborhood of Bayrampaşa, stealing jewelry worth approximately 500,000 lira. The Theft Bureau teams determined that the suspects were recorded entering the houses within the site. The footage showed the suspects entering the sites with relaxed attitudes and escaping after breaking the door locks and committing theft.

Police teams caught the suspects, identified as T.U. (21) and E.K. (23), in the act while they were trying to open the door of another house in Üsküdar after technical surveillance.

It was revealed that suspect T.U. had a total of 112 criminal records, including 106 counts of burglary, 1 count of child abduction, and 5 counts of violation of residential privacy, and he was wanted for a total of 104 years and 6 months of confirmed prison sentences. It was also found that the other suspect, S.Y., had previously been caught for 35 counts of burglary and had 4 outstanding warrants.
