The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) claimed that three helicopters belonging to the Russian army and one Pantsir S-1 air defense system were destroyed in a drone attack carried out in Crimea.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) claimed that 3 helicopters belonging to the Russian army and one Pantsir S-1 air defense missile system were destroyed.
In a written statement made from the Telegram account of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), it was reported that an attack was carried out with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the "Kirovskoe" military airfield in the illegally annexed Crimean Peninsula by Russia.
"FIRE AND DAMAGE OCCURRED"
The statement noted that as a result of the attack, fires and damage occurred in air defense systems, ammunition depots, and areas where UAVs were stored, with expressions used: "Current data shows that multi-purpose and attack helicopters Mi-8, Mi-26, and Mi-28, as well as the towed anti-aircraft missile system and air defense complex Pantsir-S1 were destroyed."
According to the statement, the attack took place last night.
2 PEOPLE DIED IN RUSSIA'S ATTACK
On the other hand, a written statement from the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine reported that the Russian army carried out a UAV attack on the city of Odessa during the night hours.
The statement indicated that 2 people were killed and 17 people, including 3 children, were injured, noting that the Russians attacked the city with more than 20 UAVs.
