Finally, Aydan Şener, who is featured in "Sandık Kokusu," made sincere statements in a YouTube program. Şener confessed her biggest regret.
Actress Aydan Şener was a guest on Sibel Arna's YouTube program. In response to Sibel Arna's question, "You are the niece of Suzan Avcı, one of the most ambitious and cult characters of Yeşilçam, a remarkable actress. How would you describe her?" Şener said:
"I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PASSIONATE ABOUT BEAUTY"
"Our relationship has always been very good. I was a big fan during my childhood. I grew up in Bursa. She would come to visit family in Bursa. Extremely stylish, extremely beautiful. Leopards, hair, makeup. I would watch her in admiration. I have always been passionate about beauty. My mother and she. I would watch them in admiration. After I came to Istanbul, while my family was in Bursa, she supported me a lot during that time. I got married at 19 and came to Istanbul. I hadn't shot Çalıkuşu yet. For those two or three years, she would say, 'What are you doing at home? Come out,' and I would spend the whole day with them. Binnaz, me, my aunt."
REVEALED HER BIGGEST REGRET
Şener, who starred in the Çalıkuşu series that aired in 1986, responded to the question of whether she regretted not accepting soloist offers:
"I received many offers. Being a soloist is not really for me. The cabaret environment, the people coming and going at the table. Would someone hit on me from there, would they, how would it be, would it be like this or like that, that's why I didn't accept. Otherwise, I didn't have a terrible voice. I don't have a magnificent voice either, but I could have sung, I could have done it. I think I would have suited the stage. At that time, I thought I was an actress, and I wouldn't do it. But now looking back, maybe I could have done more boutique work, maybe I could have released a cassette at that time."
When Şener was asked by Arna, "Do you wish you had tried it?" she replied, "Yes, I do."
