Stating that Aziz Yıldırım played a significant role in the Skriniar transfer, Koç said, "I want to make a special note about Skriniar. We had dinner with President Aziz at the beginning of the year, and it's time to repeat it. He said, 'Especially don't miss Skriniar, make sure to sign him.' Skriniar said, 'I want to evaluate other alternatives from Turkey, but if I come to Turkey, I won't go to any club other than Fenerbahçe.' He evaluated his options. He kept his promise.
