Bahçeli asked Öcalan to make a call to the SDF.

The leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, who called on terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan to make a call to the SDF/YPG, stated, "My expectation is this: the founding leadership of the PKK should call on the SDF and YPG to adhere to the agreement signed with the Damascus administration on March 10."

MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli spoke at the first group meeting of the new legislative year. Bahçeli stated that a call for disarmament should be made to the terrorist organization SDH/YPG following the PKK terrorist organization, and he emphasized that terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan should also take a step in this direction.

"YPG HAS NOT COMPLIED WITH THE CALL"

In his speech, Bahçeli said, "The founding leader of the PKK has put his hand under the stone," and added, "The PKK laid down its arms on May 12 and dissolved its organizational existence. On July 11, a group of PKK members burned their weapons. However, the YPG in northeastern Syria has not yet laid down its arms and has not complied with the February 27 Imralı call. However, the Imralı call encompasses all components of separatist terrorism, in addition to the PKK. At least, this is our understanding," he stated.

HE CALLED ON ÖCALAN

Continuing his remarks, Bahçeli asked Öcalan to call on the SDF, saying, "My expectation is this: the founding leadership of the PKK should call on the SDF and YPG to comply with the agreement signed with the Damascus administration on March 10. If necessary, a group of deputies assigned to the commission should go to Imralı to meet and share messages with the public. This statement should be updated and detailed further to bring about positive developments. We will uproot the vein of separatism. Our martyr families should not worry, and our veterans should not be afraid. We are not in a bargaining process," he said.

Here are Bahçeli's words regarding the process;

"The mentioned conscience is the definition of the ability and foresight to distinguish right from wrong. The collective conscience is the concrete counterpart of this definition and a brand of common sense. Common sense is the synthesis of intelligent, logical, and moral behavior. If the mentioned composition is absent, there will be a mistake, and it will bring forth an unsolvable problem that cannot be corrected. Turkey must break the vicious cycle that has been ongoing with a tremendous desire for unity and embrace. A Turkey without terrorism symbolizes the transition from the heart to the surface, from potential to action, from rhetoric to practice, and from thought to action and virtue. The eradication of the imperialism-originated seeds of discord that are intended to be sown between Turks and Kurds, and the destruction of the barriers of discrimination that are intended to be erected between this sacred brotherhood law is the main and essential purpose of the 'Turkey without terrorism' goal.

"LET THEM COME AND EMBRACE THEIR FAMILIES"

Indeed, the purpose is sincere, honorable, and based on truth. Look, my Kurdish brothers have no connection to terrorism whatsoever. Those who have been deceived for different motives and reasons, but have not committed a crime or engaged in armed action, should come and embrace their families. Where there are weapons, there is no politics. If there is to be politics, all weapons must be burned.

"WE ARE TURKEY, WE ARE ALL THE TURKISH NATION"

We do not have a single person whose loss we would overlook, waste, or squander. The Republic of Turkey is magnificent, and alongside that, it is compassionate. In the new century of the Republic, we need to strengthen the spirit of national unity and solidarity. Indeed, the virtue and foresight of my Kurdish brothers are at a level that can repel internal and external conspiracies. We are Turkey together, we are all the Turkish nation. Separatist ambitions and the intrigues that provoke and spread discrimination will be thrown into the trash. This is the necessary and sufficient condition for existing in this geography and living freely and independently. We have no intention or curiosity to be passengers on a ship that has lost its way, has run out of supplies, and is starting to take on water.

"IF NECESSARY, A GROUP OF DEPUTIES SHOULD GO TO IMRALI"

I must say without bending or twisting that the founding leadership of the PKK has put its hand under the stone. At the end of the February 27 Peace and Democratic Society Call, the PKK laid down its arms on May 12 and dissolved its organizational existence. On July 11, a group of PKK members burned their weapons. However, the SDF/YPG, which has an area of influence in northeastern Syria, has not yet laid down its arms and has not complied with the February 27 Imralı call. However, the Imralı call encompasses all components of separatist terrorism, in addition to the PKK. At least, this is our understanding, and our interpretation is in this direction. My expectation is this: the founding leadership of the PKK should directly call on the SDF/YPG with the same nature and content, requesting compliance with the agreement signed with the Damascus administration on March 10. While there is a consensus that the People's Assembly elections, held for the first time after the overthrow of the Assad regime, should be the center of gravity for the new period and new political and social mechanisms within democratic stability; the exclusion of Raqqa, Hasakah, and Suwayda contradicts the spirit of the March 10 Agreement. If necessary, a group of deputies from the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission should go to Imralı to have face-to-face meetings, messages should be received firsthand, and shared with the public. I see nothing to hesitate about in this. The statement that binds us is the February 27 Imralı statement.

"WE ARE NOT IN A BARGAINING PROCESS"

Updating and further detailing this statement and broadening its framework will lead to positive developments. A Turkey without terrorism is an unequivocal Turkey. A Turkey without terrorism is a strong and secure Turkey. A Turkey without terrorism is the promise of a modern and prosperous Turkey. We will solve the terrorism problem, and we will cut off the vein of separatism. With political, economic, and legal reforms, we will hopefully fully establish social harmony and justice. Our martyr families should not worry. Our veterans should not be afraid. We will not let them bow their heads. We are not in a bargaining process. We are completely closed to the negotiation process.
