Greek guard to clinch 3 year deal with Spanish club.
Nick Calathes has joined Spanish basketball team Barcelona, the club confirmed on Thursday.
The Greek guard will ink a 3-year contract after completing a medical on Friday.
"Barça and Nick Calathes have reached an initial agreement for the point guard to join the club through to June 30, 2023, pending a medical on Friday," the Spanish club said.
Before joining Barça, the 31-year-old played for Panathinaikos, Lokomotiv Kuban and NBA's Memphis Grizzlies.
He averaged 13.3 points, 9.1 assists, and 4.9 rebounds in 28 EuroLeague appearances last season. -
