Beşiktaş has announced Ciro Immobile's arrival in Istanbul tonight on the KAP. The Italian striker arrived in Istanbul around 00:30 to sign the official contract.
MESSAGE FROM IMMOBILE: I'M READY
Immobile, appearing in a Beşiktaş jersey, said the following in his statement: "I am very happy to be here. I am ready to start the season. I was deeply moved by the fans' chants."
"WE KEPT OUR PROMISE"
Beşiktaş Vice President Hüseyin Yücel said the following at the airport: "I wish Beşiktaş and all our fans the best. I would like to thank all the fans who did not leave us alone today. I had said the same thing during the Rafa Silva transfer. We will see more beautiful days. We kept our promise and we will continue to keep it. I would like to give special thanks to two people. The first is our President Hasan Arat, who followed the transfer moment by moment. He never withheld his support. My other thanks go to Ciro. Lazio really resisted a lot. However, thanks to Ciro's sacrifices, we were able to complete the transfer after a very challenging 48-hour process. Congratulations to our entire community once again."
2-YEAR AGREEMENT
After the negotiations held in Rome, Beşiktaş reached a 2-year agreement with the 34-year-old player. The black and white team will not pay a transfer fee to Lazio for this transfer. It has been revealed that the amount to be given to the player will be 6 million euros.
