Fenerbahçe announced to the Public Disclosure Platform that it has sold 4.8% (12 million shares) of its shares in Football Inc. to a foreign investor.
In a statement titled 'About Our Strategic Share Sale' from the club, it was stated, "Our Fenerbahçe has taken an important financial step in line with our club interests. In this regard, our club sold 12,000,000 B Group shares, representing 4.80% of the issued capital in Football Inc., to a foreign institutional investor through a special order at a price of 46.10 TL per share.
This transaction has been planned within the framework of strengthening our club's financial structure and sustainable growth strategies, and after this sale, our club's shareholding ratio in Fenerbahçe Football Inc. has become 62.27%. Our club has taken an important step towards closing the debts arising from the Banks Association agreement with the revenue obtained from the share sale, and as always, it will continue to provide information to its investors and community without compromising the principle of transparency during this process," the statement said.
