The driver pleaded with the police teams for a long time, but after the legal action was taken, he cursed instead. His driver's license was revoked for 2 years, and he was fined 11,622 TL.
A driver who left the prison on leave in Aksaray and drove into traffic after consuming alcohol pleaded with police officers who caught him for the second time while intoxicated, and then cursed at them.
The incident occurred on 100th Street in the Tacin neighborhood. According to the information obtained, teams from the Provincial Police Department's Traffic Branch, conducting routine traffic checks throughout the city, stopped a car with the license plate 68 ADN 999, which was traveling from Yeşilova towards the city center on suspicion. The driver, Şerafettin B. (41), who was subjected to a driver's license and registration check, raised suspicions among the officers due to his nervous behavior. They wanted to conduct a breathalyzer test on the driver, suspecting he might be under the influence of alcohol. As the police officer extended the breathalyzer, the driver admitted he was drunk but refused to blow into the device, pleading with the officer for a long time.

The driver, who stated that he had left prison on leave and had two double shots, said, "I left prison on leave, I have my family. I had two double shots. Please, Commissioner, I left prison on leave and had two double shots. I am begging you, Commissioner. I have my family, for the sake of these children, please. I swear I came out because my child is sick. You have children too. Commissioner, I came all the way from Yeşilova to here. Did it go well now that I blew? Don't you have children? Please be a little lenient. You are a public servant, because of us," he said.
"DOES OUR CURSE AFFECT YOU?"
The driver, who refused to blow into the breathalyzer and pleaded with the police officers for minutes, could not escape blowing into the device. The alcohol test revealed that the driver had a blood alcohol level of 1.47 promille. As the police officers took Şerafettin B. to the police car for legal action, he said, "May God give you the same. I am not saying anything else. May God make you suffer. Did you profit from this? Does our curse affect you? I hope you don't suffer," he cursed. He first said "hospital," then "wedding," and got angry at his family.
11 THOUSAND LIRA FINE IMPOSED
After the legal proceedings, the driver returned to his family, refuting his own excuse of going to the hospital, saying, "I told you not to schedule this wedding for me." Şerafettin B., who reacted to the press members filming him, was found to have been caught drunk for the second time, and his driver's license was revoked for 2 years. He was fined 11,622 lira for driving under the influence, and the vehicle was handed over to his wife, who was with him. Legal proceedings were also initiated against the driver, who was taken to the police station for his statement.
