Bülent Ersoy:

30.09.2024 13:20

The artist Bülent Ersoy stated that he does not want anyone to attend his funeral while answering questions about loss and loyalty.

Bülent Ersoy came to Antalya for oral and dental care. Ersoy, who will undergo a series of procedures, will have diamonds placed on her teeth. Before the procedures, Bülent Ersoy went to dinner with the clinic owners and was applauded by those in the restaurant upon entering. Fans at the restaurant competed to take photos with the artist. During the night, when asked by journalists about the recent losses among artists and the lack of loyalty shown, Bülent Ersoy said, "Disloyalty is not just at funerals; as long as we breathe in this life, these disloyalties will continue. Honestly, I don't care at all, and I don't want anyone to come to my funeral. I will go on my own."

'I'M IN THE FRONT ROW AT SEZEN'S FIRST CONCERT'

When reminded of Sezen Aksu's words, "If I feel good, I can return to the stage," Ersoy said, "Honestly, I was very happy. Because her absence is a great loss. She is one of the best voices in Turkey. She sings such beautiful alaturka that I can't describe it. She is not only a very valuable artist but also a very good friend, a very good companion, and a very good person. People need to listen to her live, feeling her art. She has made a beautiful decision. I will be in the front row at her first concert. Like a bellboy," she said. When asked, 'Have you ever thought about taking a break from the stage?' Ersoy replied, "Never, I have never thought of such a thing. I am a bit shameless. I will be on stage until my last moment."
