A bus carrying travelers who were traveling to celebrate the Mawlid al-Nabi in Kaduna state, Nigeria, collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction. In the accident, 36 passengers lost their lives while the injured were taken to the hospital.

In Kaduna state in northern Nigeria, 36 passengers lost their lives as a result of a collision between a bus and a truck.

The bus, which was carrying Muslims traveling to celebrate Mevlit Kandil, collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction in the Lere region.

36 PASSENGERS LOST THEIR LIVES

State officials reported that health teams arriving at the scene determined that 36 passengers lost their lives and the injured were taken to the hospital. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
