At least 20 people lost their lives after a bus caught fire following a collision with a two-wheeler in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. According to a report by India Today, a private travel bus caught fire after colliding with a two-wheeler in the Kurnool region. Eyewitnesses stated that the flames first erupted at the front of the bus and then spread rapidly.
20 PEOPLE PERISHED IN THE FIRE
It was reported that at least 20 people on the 40-seat bus lost their lives in the accident. Local police stated that the identification of some bodies was complicated due to them being completely burned. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep sorrow regarding the loss of lives in a statement.
