The Israeli media complained to UEFA about the choreography created by Galatasaray fans before the Bodo/Glimt match in the UEFA Champions League.
The choreography created by the yellow-red fans, featuring a giant Palestinian flag and the phrase "Stop The Genocide," became the subject of the Israeli media's complaint to UEFA.
"WILL UEFA PUNISH?"
The Hayom newspaper, which shared a photo of the choreography that caught the attention of the whole world on the social media platform of the US-based X company, stated, "An extremely antisemitic display in the Champions League: Turkish Galatasaray fans created a Palestinian flag with banners and unveiled a giant banner saying 'Stop The Genocide.' Will UEFA impose a penalty?"
Israel is under significant pressure from the international community to be banned from sports due to the genocide it has committed in Gaza.
The UEFA Executive Committee had taken action to ban Israel from tournaments at the national team and club level, but the planned extraordinary meeting was shelved with the announcement of the Peace Plan.
