Reza Pahlavi once again emphasized that he is ready to take on a leadership role in a new administration to be established in Iran, stating:

"Today, while my citizens expect leadership from me, I reaffirm the promise I made throughout my life to reclaim our country from the anti-Iranian enemy forces that occupy it and kill our children."

Pahlavi, who recently stated that he plans to return to Iran, claimed that he is in a position to manage a stable transition process.

Pahlavi, who said, "I will return to Iran. I am in a unique position to ensure a stable transition," asserted that this call is not a personal opinion but a demand from the people, using the following expressions: "This is not my opinion. This is the decision that the people have made loudly and clearly amidst the bullets."

THE COUNTRY HAS BEEN IN PROTEST SINCE DECEMBER 28

Protests initiated by tradesmen due to the significant devaluation of the currency and inflation in Iran spread across the country on December 28, 2025.

The U.S.-based Iran Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reported that so far, 2,677 people have been killed in the protests, and 2,600 have been injured.

According to HRANA, 19,097 people have also been detained.

Iranian officials have not yet made a statement regarding the death toll.
