Canakkale Can Municipality has released a surprise ending warning video to the young people who caused damage to the bus stop.

The moment when a group of young people in the Çan district of Çanakkale damaged the walls of a municipal bus stop by kicking and punching them was recorded by the security cameras of the stop. Çan Municipality shared the footage on social media with a warning.

"THE PUNISHMENT FOR DAMAGING MUNICIPAL PROPERTY IS IMPRISONMENT FROM 1 TO 4 YEARS"

In the statement made by the municipality, it was warned that "the punishment for damaging municipal property is evaluated within the scope of Article 152 of the Turkish Penal Code, which regulates the qualified forms of property damage. Therefore, the defendant who damages municipal property may be sentenced to imprisonment from 1 to 4 years."
