Cars collided head-on: 2 dead, 3 injured.

In the Kemalpaşa district of Izmir, the vehicle lost control of the driver and collided with the vehicle coming from the opposite direction after crossing the median. In the accident, 2 people died and 3 people were seriously injured.

CARS COLLIDED HEAD-ON

The accident occurred around 18:00 on Izmir-Ankara Avenue near the Armutlu intersection. According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 45 UU 861, driven by Hüseyin Ali Ceylan (54) from Turgutlu towards Izmir, lost control of the steering wheel and crossed the median to the opposite direction. Meanwhile, the vehicle collided with the car with license plate 35 BMK 730, driven by Tuncay Y. (54) towards Turgutlu, turning the road into a battlefield.

2 PEOPLE DEAD, 3 PEOPLE INJURED

Upon the notification of the accident, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While security measures were taken on the road by the gendarmerie, it was determined that the driver Hüseyin Ali Ceylan and Zeliha Ceylan (56) in the car with license plate 45 UU 861 lost their lives in the accident. Tuncay Y., who was driving the other car, and Gülay Y. and Bekir Y., who were passengers, were taken to Turgutlu State Hospital in critical condition.

THEY ARE IN CRITICAL CONDITION

The lifeless bodies of Hüseyin Ali Ceylan and Zeliha Ceylan, who died in the accident, were taken to Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue after the examination. It was learned that the condition of the 3 people who were seriously injured in the accident is still critical. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
