Last year on July 8th, Özkan Uğur, who was undergoing cancer treatment, passed away in the hospital. On the first anniversary of his death, he was not forgotten. Cem Yılmaz, a close friend who had worked with Uğur on the same project for years, said, "You are in our hearts, our dear brother Özkan." Zafer Algöz also used the expression, "We have never forgotten you, Özkan."
The master artist Özkan Uğur, who was the lead singer of the MFÖ group and also made a name for himself in acting, passed away last year on July 8th after losing his battle with cancer. Uğur, who was 69 years old, was remembered on the first anniversary of his death.
