After the 15th Extraordinary Congress of the Democratic Party, it became a matter of curiosity which party Deputy Cemal Enginyurt, who announced his departure from his party, would join. While various claims were made, Enginyurt revealed the parties that invited him during a live broadcast.

Enginyurt stated, "Even parties we haven't heard of in Turkey called me," and added, "From CHP, from İYİ Party, from Zafer. Salih and I were sad when we left the Democratic Party. Salih served there for 35 years. He left the chairmanship of the Motherland Party to be able to join the DP. We were demoralized for this reason when he left the Democratic Party. Tens of thousands of people called me. There were people inviting me to İYİ Party, Zafer, and CHP," he expressed.

In his statements regarding the resignation process, Enginyurt said, "The Democratic Party does not want to grow. I saw that it progressed with the understanding of 'let it be small, but mine.' I am a fighting man. I am a man who puts forth what I believe is right. However, I found the November 17 congress unnecessary. I saw that this congress would not lead to the goal, so I considered being in the Democratic Party a waste of time. I will continue my path independently to fight against those who say we are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal and against those who want to destroy freedom," he stated.

"WE WILL SEEK A WAY"

Speaking about the upcoming period, Enginyurt said, "We will seek a way by consulting and reaching a consensus with our friends who have worked in the Center-Right. We will see how long that path takes. If we can revive the Center-Right, we will be very pleased. We will not fall into trouble just because we couldn't establish the Center-Right. I want a country where children, girls, and women are not killed in this country. I want a country where Yaşar Güler does not punish his own lieutenants. I will do whatever it takes for this. I will do everything to ensure that Erdoğan does not have power in this country," he said.
