10 MINUTES OF CHAOS

During the incident, other deputies also intervened in the discussion, and chaos prevailed in the general assembly. In an environment where it was even unclear who hit whom, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, and İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu were also present in the hall.
TBMM PRESIDENT INTERVENED
TBMM President Numan Kurtulmuş suspended the session after the minutes-long scuffle. Kurtulmuş quickly intervened to ensure security and order.
After the environment calmed down, the deputies returned to the general assembly hall, and the budget was voted on.
