North Korea, which has sent soldiers to support the Russian army in Ukraine, continues to suffer losses. According to the South Korean Intelligence Service (NIS), at least 300 North Korean soldiers have been killed in Ukraine, and approximately 2,700 soldiers have been injured. According to NIS officials who provided information to South Korean lawmakers in the intelligence committee, North Korea has suffered losses due to its lack of sufficient knowledge about modern warfare techniques and the "useless" actions of soldiers, such as firing at long-range drones. NORTH KOREAN SOLDIERS WERE ORDERED TO KILL THEMSELVES TO AVOID CAPTUREThe statement noted that North Korea has ordered its soldiers to kill themselves to avoid capture by the Ukrainian army. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated that they are ready to return the North Korean soldiers they captured injured if North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un organizes the exchange of Ukrainian soldiers held in Russia.
