The global economic crisis has led to the bankruptcy of numerous companies, with the latest addition to the list being the Turkish construction giant Fi Yapı. Once one of Turkey's most important construction companies, Fi Yapı went bankrupt after six years under the management of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF). Approximately 4,000 apartments and shops that were not delivered have left thousands of citizens in distress.

The global economic crisis is causing a significant number of companies in Turkey to raise the bankruptcy flag. The latest company to join the list is Fi Yapı, a former construction giant.

DECLARED BANKRUPT BY COURT DECISION

Fi Yapı İnşaat AŞ, once one of Turkey's largest construction companies, was declared bankrupt by a court decision after 6 years of management by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF).

HARMED THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS

Approximately 4,000 apartments and shops that were not delivered have harmed thousands of citizens. Fi Yapı had previously built thousands of housing units in projects such as Fi Tower, Fi Side, Fi Life, and Fi Yaka.

The company also had a period when it sponsored the naming rights of Beşiktaş Stadium. According to a report by HalkTV, the rapid growth process was interrupted by the cancellation of zoning approvals for some projects by municipalities and the legal processes that ensued.
