The first three episodes of the series, which premiered this week on Disney+ and Hulu, had been announced months in advance with significant promotions.
THE PROMOTIONS DIDN'T WORK
The moments when Kim Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, and Ryan Murphy first presented the project to Kardashian were also featured in the family's own reality show. While the cast has recently embarked on a global promotional tour, the promotions for the series received significant attention on social media. However, despite all these advertising efforts, harsh comments came from critics with the release of the series. The lack of a press preview drew attention, while on the day of the series' release, critics watched the first three episodes and shared their evaluations.
The result was not very promising: All's Fair received a rare "rotten" score of 0% on the "Rotten Tomatoes" site, which aggregates critic ratings.

Many critics also harshly criticized Kardashian's acting performance. Lucy Mangan, a writer for The Guardian, commented, "I didn't know it was still possible to make television this bad, but I was wrong. All's Fair is truly dreadful – inexplicably bad." The criticisms were not limited to Western media. Anisha Rao from India Today remarked, "This is not a legal drama; it's just a flashy but meaningless fashion show. The makeup is more prominent than the story," giving it half a star. Viewer comments were also in the same direction. Many found Kardashian's presence in the lead role "meaningless." On social media, users commented, "Her acting is dull and monotonous," and "She should stop constantly touching her face."
