While the echoes of MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's statement, "The deputies to be selected from the commission should go to İmralı. The MHP is ready to participate in such a delegation," continue, there was also a statement from President Erdoğan regarding the issue. Speaking at a party group meeting, Erdoğan said, "The Terror-Free Turkey Commission has filled an important gap; all relevant parties should be heard."

President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements regarding current issues at his party's parliamentary group meeting.
While the echoes of MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's words, "The process of deputies selected from the Commission going to İmralı to receive the necessary messages firsthand will strengthen the process. The Nationalist Movement Party is ready to participate in such a delegation," continue, there was also a response from President Erdoğan on the matter.
Erdoğan stated, "The National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission has successfully fulfilled its founding mission with the meetings it has held since August 5," and emphasized, "It is extremely valuable for all issues related to the process to be discussed comprehensively under the Commission's roof, for no one to be left out, for all relevant parties to be heard, and for different ideas to be expressed courageously."
Highlights from Erdoğan's statements;
"From here, through you, I send my greetings and love to all our brothers who have turned their eyes and hearts to us, both in our country and abroad, and to all our citizens whose hearts beat with us.
Our brothers, regardless of being Turkmen, Arab, Kurdish, Sunni, or Shia, already know very well. They are not only against the deployment of Mehmetçik in their own lands but are actually pleased with it. Dear friends, given this situation, we have seen that the CHP, which claims to be the party that founded the Republic, opposed the motion. The Grand National Assembly of Turkey is conducting a vote that closely concerns the security of the country and the nation. But you see, the main opposition party of the country is opposing this by hiding behind a bunch of ridiculous arguments and excuses that they themselves do not even believe in.
And unfortunately, they are far from exhibiting a local and national stance on foreign policy issues. They are very good at making grandiose speeches in the squares. However, when it comes to keeping their word and standing behind what they say, they suddenly change direction and backtrack, flip-flopping in front of our nation's eyes.
"IF MR. ÖZEL CONTINUES LIKE THIS, CHP WILL OVERHEAT"
If Mr. Özel continues to engage in such politics, my concern is that the CHP will either overheat, break a wheel, or break the transmission. The signals of this are already visible. The esteemed Chairman is making himself more and more ridiculous with each passing day due to his gaffes and blunders. Yesterday, he again made disproportionate and unfounded statements. Our Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, as well as our regional deputies, will provide the necessary response to his absurdities regarding the earthquake zone.
Previously, they would at least visit the region like tourists, but now they can't even do that. They have no knowledge of the ongoing infrastructure and superstructure works, the completed housing, or how far our earthquake region has come. Just as they are only now getting acquainted with the high-speed train that has been in service for sixteen years, perhaps in ten years they will realize what we have done in our earthquake regions.
We can never tie the security of our region to the CHP's policies that do not inspire confidence. Because what matters to us is Turkey. The safety of Turkey. The ability of eighty-six million of our people to lay their heads on their pillows in peace every night.
As the AK Party and the People's Alliance, our red line is the preservation and defense of the existence of this sacred homeland under all circumstances. The way to achieve this is to leave not even the smallest gap in terms of security, both within our borders and beyond. Thank you for watching, listening, and being with us in your prayers. Thank you, stay well. May God be our helper.
"I THANK MR. BAHÇELİ"
Important developments have occurred in the last two weeks. Everything is progressing in its own course. We are continuing our work with determination, without paying attention to provocations, and without giving any opportunity to any secret or open attempts to sabotage the process. While we are keeping a very tight grip on security and defense, we are also courageously taking steps to free our country from this great distress, this heavy burden that has been tormenting it for almost half a century.
Thanks to the brave and visionary contributions of our coalition partner, Nationalist Movement Party Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, the intense efforts of our party to embrace every segment of society, and the extraordinary efforts of all our state institutions, we are, thank God, walking confidently towards a terror-free Turkey.
I sincerely thank Mr. Devlet Bahçeli for his historical evaluations during the group meeting, which exposed all the games of the treacherous FETÖ members and the corrupt and bankrupt mentality, and not only that but also left their dirty ambitions unfulfilled.
MEETING WITH DEM-NAMED FIGURES
We held a very constructive meeting with the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and DEM Party Van Deputy Ms. Pervin Buldan and DEM Party Şanlıurfa Deputy Mr. Mithat Sancar at our Presidential Complex. We once again confirmed and observed that we share similar concerns and a sense of common responsibility regarding the sensitive advancement of the process.
It is now clearly seen that we have reached a new crossroads on the way to the goal of a terror-free Turkey and a terror-free region. In this process, everyone needs to put their hands under the stone, sincerely support the process, and focus on providing the highest possible contribution they can.
As the People's Alliance, we have done our part until now; we will continue to do so with the same determination.
"THE COMMISSION HAS FILLED AN IMPORTANT GAP"
The National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission has successfully fulfilled its founding mission with the meetings it has held since August 5. It is extremely valuable for all issues related to the process to be discussed comprehensively under the Commission's roof, for no one to be left out, for all relevant parties to be heard, and for different ideas to be expressed courageously.
With the work carried out under the leadership of our Speaker of the Parliament, the commission has filled an important gap,
and has created a strong accumulation that will guide decision-makers. We attach great importance to the comprehensive report that our commission will write and the legal roadmap it will determine for the upcoming period.
With a little more courage, a little more effort, and a little more confidence, with God's permission, we will successfully conclude this process. A terror-free Turkey is a happy Turkey living in peace and tranquility.

Turkey without terrorism will be a magnificent scene of brotherhood and embrace, a symbol of a successful, victorious, and reputable Turkey.
"THE NEW SYMBOL OF SUPPORT FOR THE PALESTINIAN STRUGGLE"
Since our last meeting, many international agreements, including the opening of an office for the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, in Ankara, have been discussed and approved by the General Assembly.
I hope that this decision, which is a new symbol of Turkey's importance to the Palestinian cause and the struggle for the rights, justice, and freedom of our Palestinian brothers, will be beneficial and auspicious.
Additionally, we have submitted the 2026 Central Government Budget Law Proposal for the approval of our esteemed Parliament. This budget is the 24th prepared by the AK Party governments and the 8th of the Presidential Government System period. At the same time, it is a strong indicator of our political stability and institutional continuity. In the budget proposal, we have set the principle that each of our citizens should fairly benefit from the opportunities brought by development and growth.
We anticipate that revenues in 2026 will be 16 trillion 216 billion lira. We are increasing the social assistance budget to 917 billion lira in 2026. We are allocating 100 billion lira to support social housing projects. In order for our citizens to use electricity and natural gas more affordably,
we foresee a resource of 373 billion lira in the 2026 budget.
"WE HAVE BEEN SERVING OUR NATION CONTINUOUSLY FOR 23 YEARS"
We express the duty of serving the country continuously for 23 years. In every election we entered after November 3, we increased our votes and gained more favor from our nation. Those who were born on the day we came to power are now 23 years old. Every election we entered after November 3 has been, I say this with confidence, the cleanest elections in the world in terms of transparency, reliability, and participation.
"WE SAID 'BRING IT ON' IN EVERY ELECTION"
They say we are dictators, or that we are authoritarian. All of these are mere nonsense. These baseless accusations are slanders used by our opponents to cover their own failures and incompetence. What did we say in every election we entered? Bring it on. We spoke with what we have done in every election, but more so with what we will do. We set a horizon, set a goal, set a vision. Our nation has chosen us every time with its free will. Thank God, they continue to choose us.
In 52 years, 39 governments have been established in Turkey. Do you know what this means? This means that a government changes in Turkey on average every 16 months. A prime minister comes to office with his cabinet and team; before he even realizes what is happening, he hands over the duty to someone else after 16 months. There is no stability in the country, no trust, no continuity.
In such an environment, you can neither invest nor produce permanent solutions to the country's chronic problems.
Managing the economy, being effective in foreign policy, establishing peace and order becomes almost impossible.
"THEY EMPTIED THE IBB"
They emptied the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality; they practically extorted everyone who needed the municipality. They mobilized billions of lira to design politics. It wasn't enough; they colluded with foreign intelligence agencies.
We stand tall against such a mentality, such a treason network, and an understanding that collaborates with the enemies of our country; we are fighting and at the same time continuing to produce services for our nation.
"I AM NEVER PESSIMISTIC"
It is no longer possible to count what we have done in 23 years in a single breath. We have spent these 23 years fully. All of these are worldly matters. All of these are transient; hopefully, better things will be done. We have done such work that its effects will last for centuries. In 23 years, we have raised a youth, a generation. We have raised a confident, faithful, local youth.
If they ask what you have done in 23 years, first and foremost, we have raised a youth that will place the stone of the cause in the continent of Anatolia in its rightful place. I am never hopeless about the future. I am never pessimistic. Do not pay attention to the few people in the witch hunt. There is an honest, moral generation that is respectful to its nation, deeply connected to its homeland, with its feet firmly planted on the soil of the homeland, and their numbers are increasing every day. No one should dream of the old dark days, and no one should worry that the old dark days will return. This nation will uphold the continent of Anatolia and will raise that stone of the cause even higher. This youth, this generation will accomplish what we could not. Our lives, our political history have mostly been spent in resistance.
