The chairman of the CHP, Özgür Özel, stated, "Let me tell you something you will hear from me for the first time," and announced that Dilek İmamoğlu, the wife of Ekrem İmamoğlu who is detained in Silivri Prison, has had her diplomatic passport revoked.
On the anniversary of the death of Bülent Ecevit, the 3rd General President of the CHP and former Prime Minister, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who answered questions from journalists during the memorial ceremony, announced that Dilek İmamoğlu's diploma has been revoked.
"IS THERE A COURT DECISION?"
Özel stated that Dilek İmamoğlu was preparing to go abroad, saying, "Let me tell you something you will hear from me for the first time. Ms. Dilek was going abroad to receive an award given to Mr. Ekrem. They said that when Ms. Dilek intended to go abroad, they sent a message, 'Her passport will be revoked.' Ms. Dilek and her children have a diplomatic passport granted by this Assembly's law to the Mayors of Metropolitan Municipalities. They have revoked it. What happened? You will get a normal, regular passport. Currently, Ekrem İmamoğlu's title is the elected Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality... But is there a court decision? Has he received a penalty? Has the penalty he received been approved? There is an accusation against his father. There is a confidentiality decision; he is leaking what suits him. We hear the worst. But we do not know the evidence in his favor. He has condemned him in his mind. How can this be a state!"

Speaking about the rejection of the objection to the trustee appointed to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, Özel said, "There is one unconscious person there.
