The footage shows a man named Uriel Rivera Martinez approaching from the crowd and attempting to hug and kiss the Mexican leader from behind.

HE WAS DETAINED

Sheinbaum's security team immediately intervened in the incident, detaining the assailant, while the Mexican leader turned around in shock, trying to understand what had happened. Authorities reported that the assailant was intoxicated at the time of the incident and was referred to a unit dealing with sexual offenses.
